🎯 Workshop Objective:

To equip scouts with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to confidently handle common injuries and emergencies that may occur during outdoor activities and camping events.

📆 Workshop Duration:

Half Day or Full Day (Flexible based on school requirement)
Recommended Time: 4–6 hours

  • Scouts (Ages 12–18)

  • Scout Leaders

  • Teachers in charge of the camp

📘 Workshop Content:

  1. ✅ Introduction to First Aid

    • What is First Aid?

    • Importance of First Aid in scouting and outdoor settings

  2. 🩹 Basic Wound Care

    • Cuts, scrapes, blisters

    • Cleaning and dressing wounds

    • Preventing infection

  3. 🧯 Burns, Bleeding & Bandaging

    • Types of burns and bleeding

    • Applying pressure bandages and slings

  4. 🫁 CPR & Choking Management (Demo-based or Hands-on)

    • Basic CPR theory for adults and children

    • Heimlich maneuver for choking (simulated practice)

  5. 🐍 Snake Bites and Insect Stings

    • Identifying local threats

    • Immediate response and what not to do

  6. 🧠 Fractures, Sprains, and Shock

    • Recognizing symptoms

    • Immobilizing injured limbs using natural materials

  7. 🏕️ Emergency Situations in Camps

    • Dehydration, heatstroke, cold exposure

    • Scene safety and teamwork during emergencies

  8. 🧪 Hands-On Practice & Simulations

    • Realistic emergency scenarios

    • Team response and individual performance
